Cecelia Burokas, MAT, leads Working with Groups at Work. Now an independent consultant, Cecelia has directed a corporate learning and development department and consulted with corporations and not-for-profit organizations. Recent clients include the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning, America's Second Harvest (now Feeding America), GATX, MED of Tennessee, and Rhea Hirsch School of Education, Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation, and Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation.
She is on the faculty of Northwestern University's Master of Science in Learning and Organization Change Program where she teaches Transformational Consulting for both traditional and low residency students. In Northwestern's School of Continuing Studies she teaches Organizational Change.
Previously she was with Hewitt Associates' Organization Effectiveness consulting practice where her clients included AT&T, Amoco, Ford Motor Company, and a variety of health care, educational, and financial institutions in the United States and abroad. She also serves on the boards of local nonprofits, including Gang of Toes and Community TV Network.
Through her broad network of professional associates, she has access to many equally experienced consultants and coaches who can join her, as needed, to provide the right combination of approaches and people for each client.
